The History of Supper Clubs and the Inspiration Behind the gård Supper Club
First rising to popularity in the 1930s and 1940s, supper clubs have cultivated communities for decades by melding the best parts of an exclusive restaurant, intimate dinner party, and lively social destination together.
With this history in mind, the gard Supper Society was born out of the desire to create a space where community, entertainment, and the culinary arts are intertwined.
The purpose of the gard Supper Club is rooted in reigniting the essence of yesteryear’s supper clubs and reigniting people to feel excited about getting dressed up to go to dinner—and not just a quick dinner at a bar, but one that features a full night of music, performances, exceptional food and drinks, and even better company.
In addition to providing members with an unforgettable experience, the gard Supper Club also aims to provide our chefs local to Collingwood with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills, push culinary boundaries, and experiment with new techniques.
What to Expect from A gard Supper Club Event
The goal of the gard Super Club is to offer a unique Entertainment and brand new Culinary experience every eight to ten weeks.
Our table d'hôte menu offers a multi-course meal at a fixed price, with a limited selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts for the host to choose from. This "table of the host" concept provides a curated dining experience where our chef designs a cohesive menu to be served to all guests that compliments our Entertainment.

It promises not only a feast for the senses with impeccable presentations, flavor profiles and spirit selections, but a return to the glamorous eras of Las Vegas and old New York set against the beautiful backdrop of Blue Mountains.
